Jessica Palm leads integrated marketing strategy and PR at the Kansas City Area Development Council. From elevating the region’s industry strengths to positioning the market globally as KC Heartland, Jessica works to further KCADC’s mission to attract corporate investment, jobs and talented people to the two-state, 18-county area.

A national thought leader on lifestyle marketing, Jessica has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company and Business Insider, among others. Overseeing KCADC’s strategic communications efforts, Jessica has the opportunity to engage in many of the region’s significant announcements including several over the last decade including Meta, Panasonic, new KCI single-terminal, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts opening and more.

A native of Kansas City, Jessica is actively involved in the civic community serving on several nonprofit boards and engaging in many community-wide efforts. She is proud to be a part of the country’s No. 1 regional economic development group for more than 12 years and on the organization’s Executive Leadership team for seven. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Minor in Business.

Jessica is married to Eric, and they have two children, a son Lincoln (age 3), and a daughter Sutton (age 1).
