Daniel Kleinmann is a co-founder and partner at Balerion Space Ventures, a VC fund dedicated to investing in companies that are fundamental to the growth and success of the new space economy. Daniel was also a founder and principal at the team’s prior firm, Explorer 1 fund which was started in 2021 and has made ten investments to date and invested alongside firms such as BlackRock, Fidelity, Founders Fund, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Lockheed Martin and others.
Prior to Balerion and Explorer 1, Daniel managed the venture investment strategy for a single-family office out of Texas where he invested in funds and startups in the Life Science, Enterprise Software and Tech sectors. Daniel also holds an MBA from NYU and Tel Aviv University where he spent time working in the Tel Aviv tech ecosystem. Daniel plans to visit Space sometime in the next 5 years.
